The Groomery is an established pet grooming, boarding, and retail pet supply business.  Our boarding kennels are located off-site (from our storefront) and we are in need of a responsible animal lover who will care for our boarders as if they were their own.

We are offering part-time work initially although this may expand to full-time in the near future.  Our expansion plans may present management opportunities in the future for those who get in on the ground floor now.

This position is located in the rapidly growing high-desert community of Rosamond, California (population 18,000).  The position requires driving a company vehicle as well as safely transporting animals and kennel supplies.  A valid California Driver's License is required as well as a clean driving record (DMV printout must be provided prior to hiring).  Candidates must be available and willing to work weekends and holidays.

This position is located in the rapidly growing high-desert community of Rosamond, California (population 18,000) on the town's main street.  The shopping center where we are located contains a convenience store, a dry-cleaner, a pizza restaurant, a real-estate office, a martial arts studio, a laundromat, and a beauty shop so there is a constant flow of potential customers through the area.  We serve a large military clientele at nearby Edwards Air Force Base as well as many customers from Lancaster and Palmdale (combined population of nearly 400,000) located less than 20 minutes away.

We are looking for someone with excellent grooming skills (we will ask to see a demonstration of your work) and a dedication to quality customer service.  The successful candidate must be willing to groom dogs of all breeds and sizes as well as cats and the occasional exotic pet.  We are a non-smoking shop however a smoking area is available outside and behind our facility.
